Raleigh is a city of tall loblolly pines and old oak trees, and that shapes every roof here. From the Victorian tin-roofed porches in Oakwood to the brick ranches inside the Beltline and the two-story homes up in North Raleigh, we have seen what hurricanes, ice storms, and falling limbs do to a roof.
Homeowners in 27601 and across Wake County call Raleigh Metal Roofing because we know the housing stock, the historic district rules, and the afternoon thunderstorms that test every seam and fastener. We have been installing, repairing, and replacing metal roofs here since 2009.
Metal Roofing in Raleigh (27601)
Raleigh sits in the rolling Piedmont, under a canopy of pines and hardwoods. That means shade, which is nice in July, but it also means black algae streaks on shaded shingle roofs and limbs that come down in every ice storm. The housing stock is just as varied: 1870s to 1910s Victorian and Queen Anne homes in Oakwood and Mordecai, Craftsman bungalows in Boylan Heights, mid-century brick ranches in Five Points and North Hills, and newer subdivisions out toward Brier Creek, Cary, and Wake Forest. Each type has its own challenges, from the steep turrets of Oakwood to the low-slope porches of Boylan Heights. We also work on classic white farmhouses with standing seam tin roofs out in rural Wake and Johnston counties. The soil here is clay-heavy, so drainage and gutter sizing matter, and summer storms can drop a lot of water fast. Our crews are insured and handle everything from a single leak repair to a full replacement.
Our experience serving Raleigh and the Raleigh area, since 2009.

How a Job Works in Raleigh
Step 1: You call us at (984) 733-0998 or request a free estimate online. We schedule an on-site assessment, usually within a few days. We inspect your roof, check the attic and flashing points, and talk through options and budget. You get a written estimate before any work starts.
Step 2: Once you approve, we pull the required permits from the local building department and schedule the work. In historic districts like Oakwood, we coordinate with the Raleigh Historic Development Commission on panel profiles and colors. For tight lots or steep driveways, we plan material delivery and staging carefully. Most residential roofs take one to three days, weather permitting.
Step 3: We clean up every day and do a final walkthrough with you. We haul away old materials, magnet-sweep for nails, and make sure gutters and downspouts are clear. We do not leave until you are satisfied.
Pricing in Raleigh depends on the size and pitch of your roof, the material you choose, and how accessible the property is. As a ballpark, metal roof installation starts at $8 per square foot, standing seam at $10, metal roof replacement at $9, and a retrofit over existing shingles at $7. Repairs start at $450, and screw replacement or re-fastening starts at $750. Coating and painting start at $2.50 per square foot. We always provide a free estimate so you know exactly what your job will cost. Call (984) 733-0998 to schedule yours.
